Dr. Alisun Kovach, D.M.D.

Dr. Alisun is an Erie, PA native who has recently returned to the area after living in Boston, MA for the last 15 years. Dr. Kovach graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2006 she moved to Boston to further her studies in the health sciences and received her Masters in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Health Science from Boston University. She stayed at Boston University to complete her dental training, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2012. During her time there, she received several awards, including The International College of Dentist Leadership Award and Outstanding Achievement and Excellence in Patient and Practice Management.

To this day, Dr. Kovach remains passionate about continuing education. She completes 100-150 hours of continuing education each year. She has trained at The Kois Center in Seattle, WA, as well as, Spear Education in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ and is currently pursuing accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and her Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kovach loves helping patients regain confidence in their smiles. She takes the time necessary to understand patients' concerns and goals and works hard to ensure their treatment is comfortable and they felt well taken care of every step of the way.

In her free time, Dr. Kovach loves spending time outdoors. Prior to moving to Boston, she worked at a garden center for 10 years. While living the heart of the city, she had a plot in Boston's historic Fenway Victory Gardens where she grew her own fruits and veggies. Prior to returning home, she spent most weekends exploring coastal New England. Now living near Lake Erie again, she is enjoying kayaking, paddle boarding, and cycling.
